The New Albany Fire Department has a Chief, Deputy Chief, 18 full-time firefighters, 7 part time firefighters and eight volunteer firefighters. The department has two pumper trucks, one ladder truck, one stand by truck, one rescue vehicle, two squad trucks, and one side by side ranger for rails to trails. The department serves the city limits of New Albany (18.3 square miles) from two stations.
